Also this seems to be a Windows Problem. The Linux Version is running just fine. One more reason to ditch windows i guess :)
A response from the devs would be nice. They should know what changed between this and the last version...
This obviously is not THE solution, maybe just in this one person's case.
I still can't believe the devs haven't even bothered with a reply... This appears to be Windows related but only after a particular patch, so most definitely some change in the game is triggering it and the devs should at least bloody acknowledge the problem!
It's not been fixed after several months; people should stop buying the game and get refunds if they can. If devs aren't bothered to even reply then just consider the game dead.
Exactly the case! April and still no solution!
For anyone who hasn't already, I highly recommend trying this as a fix. (Note: updating bios is a bit more of a faff, you can't do it with most auto-update programs. You have to manually do it)
Might make a new discussion just to help get eyes on this tbh! Thank you again Xaller2132!!
It resolved the problem for me without any need to update bios
