ZEPHON
Endgame [spoilers]
So i got to turn 100, where you're asked to pick a side between Zephon and the Anchorite
Titans have spawned, and there a very obvious glaring issue.

Both sides' titans are targeting the smallest enemy unit available to them. Im watching Zephon's titans crush the combined army of 2 AI and myself while the anchorite is fooling around chasing units that are genuinely no threat to anyone.

I cannot take on 4 (one got fortunately destroyed) titans by myself and Zephon is just moving in, destroying 1-3 units a turn, removing any chance of fighting back since the titans are just leaving us to fend for ourselves.
Also the titans' AoE is massive and punishes any form of massed counterattack one could form, especially when there's 5 (4) of them.

There's currently no way for me to win if the titans don't turn around and fight each other, and they seem more interested by my cities and small units than anything else.

What am i supposed to do here ?

I beat the titans with the long-range cannon units. I did have them in a choke and made them eat my tiny units to keep them in place, but it worked.

if you get close, you can't win.

the comp getting 4 titans and then no matter what i worked on they just roll over me...

I didn't do this in my own end game, but I heard that you can tell your ally to help you somewhere specific on the map. If so, you could tell them to go to where the other titans are.

Human affilated leader should not have any problems if they get shiraki and build large enough pile of cyclones, crusaders and vanquishers. Outriders with mines help to slow them down and scout to get LOS. Killed all 7 on my first try as dead solider. Selling afinity resouces you dont need helps a lot with it.

is there a way to make the game just keep going without the titan spawn?

Advanced options escalation pace set it to none. Should turn it off. Other option regardless of seting is to win game before it gets that far.

Playing as the tribunal, full voice units. My army has a lot of melee and 1 range units
It's also my first game so i messed a bit around and got sidetracked. Kinda a harsh way to end it, i havent loaded it yet as i don't know if i can do anything

It's the lord of skull event except you have to deal with it, rather frustrating

I was lucky, I managed to beat Zephon on hard difficulty with the last man left, their titans were still alive lol

If you go full-on in a faction, try to build up research fast to unlock the later techs as outside Humans, you kinda need the end-game stuff to really be able to face those Titans. Each side's titans are specialized against a type of situation : Aliens VS non-titans single targets, ZEPHON VS groups of enemies. If you wish to go independant from both... Good luck because you'll need a BIG army to be able to fend them off even if they fight with each others. Bonus points : you get to hang out with the Chieftess, the coolest gal on this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ earth.

Ctrl+click sets a waypoint which your allies try to move to (same combination on waypoint to remove it). You can select allied units to check where they are going.

I didn't have any problem dealing with titans in my first game (only medium difficulty though). At the end it was an alliance of 4 vs Zephon. So we got 6 acrin titans (3 in the acrin's capital, 1 in allies') vs 3 zephon titans. I had a waypoint at enemy capital so all titans that spawned marched there. I held out for few turns losing some small units, then allied swarm of small units arrived which helped held enemy titans next to their capital, and finally when cavalry arrived we easily stomped them.

Propably you are screwed if you did not played right from start. They pretty hard depend on trading resouces for influence to get research done. My trinity game finished before i got to endgame. Allied Acrin and 2 AI cos i got lucky on RNG. Then just decked my hero with summoning items and just drown the rest in dark vassael spam + summons from hero on every CD.

I've tried two games on medium, and both times I tried staying independent. That was massively unfun: both times, one titan group just demolished the other and gained a bunch of levels from it. After that I was left as the only enemy for them - as they were reinforced by the surviving faction's units. I had no input for this, as the titans randomly spawned far away from me.

By that time I had unlocked and produced every type of late-game Fallen Soldier unit, but their life expectancy was so low I could only fight the titan doomstack to a standstill at the center of the map, losing all my units, then reproduce them again, throw the Titan assault back to the center of the map, lose more units, ad perpetuam. They regenerate health, too.

I am currently at a loss: what can be done, if even producing a massive army of final-tiers units does not amount to victory?

I guess the Chieftess could be of use, however, she got demolished first order of buisiness in both games without taking down a single titan.

Any tips? Or is this situation intentionally made unwinnable?

Picking independent is basically the option for "I want to lose".
Either of the others is way easier to win.

Yea to win as independent you really have to metagame and go full Genocide from turn 1 if it gets to turn 100 and you havent destroyed several zephon and acrin cities and killed an enemy player your pretty much screwed
