Installing the Patch

Hello hello~ I'm sure tons of others have already figured out how to install the patch, but I thought I could make a post for those who needed a little guidance. If you're a little confused or need clarification, I think I can cover some of that here.

For those wondering about the r18 content, unfortunately a lot of the spicy/juicy content isn't present in Steam's version of DMMd. If you haven't bought the game yet or just refunded, you can buy the full version game with all of its content here! [jastusa.com]


Unfortunately, the patch for the Steam version of DMMd is NOT free. You can buy the patch right here! [jastusa.com]

Once you've purchased the DLC, navigate to My Account then go to My Games and install the patch. Once you've downloaded it, you should have a .zip file named DMMd_steam_r18.zip

Unzip the .zip file then navigate back to Steam and go to your Library and right click DMMd. Click on Properties then Local Files. Then click Browse... and the game's folder should be open.

Open the folder that contains the patch (you should have this after you unzipped the .zip file) and copy script.npk & system.npk (or just drag them) into the game's folder and replace the file in the destination. There's an folder exactly named patch in the DMMd_steam_r18 folder. Just drag the folder into the game's files and you're good to go.

EDIT : I'm unsure if this is 100% accurate, so please do correct me if I'm wrong. When you go to config, the version should be 1.00s instead of just 1.00

Alright I may have found an answer to this issue in case anyone else is having the same problem. I didn't drag the file named "patch" into the DmmD files on my first try because I missed that step on my first read through. I did drag it in after and nothing happened. If you made this mistake aswell, try uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, redownlaod the patch and unzip and then drag all of the files (including the one named patch) into the DmmD files. Then start up the game again. This worked for me al least.

Yes, there is the Jast patch, though you will have to start all overagain since it doesn´t work with saved data

Once you have the patch
1 Unzip the folder
2 Inside there are two files and a new folder, paste everything on the DMM data folder (DO NOT TAKE THE CONTENT OF THE SECOND FOLDER OUT WHEN YOU PASTE IT)
3 It will ask you to replace a file, do so
4 Go back on Steam and Right click on DMM app-- Local Files-- Verify the integrity of game files

After it does a check up you should be good to go

To check if it worked you can skip util Mink is introduced, and if you are able to see Aoba´s pubic hair .... you made it, enjoy

edit: was reading another discussion post and they had the answer! if, like me, you copy/pasted the base npk file itself, delete that from your game folder and instead copy/paste the patch folder as a whole. once all the files are moved into the game folder, use the "verify integrity of game files" option in the local files tab of the game properties. i had to do this twice, as it failed to validate a few files the first time. just run the process again. This FINALLY got the full cgs to show for me!

This was SO helpful ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, thank you so much!! I was about to give up because I had already pasted the patch files onto the steam folder and nothing was working. I clicked the "verify integrity" button and it failed a couple times, then it finally said "all files verified" and I now have the 1.00s version of the game!! So after you did it a few times, it worked? It keeps telling me the 2 files failed to verify.

Can confirm that for the steam version of the game, 1.00s is the UNcensored patch. I just went through to double check, Aoba's full 8==D confirmed.

Thank you for encouraging my BL addiction. Interestingly enough though my uncensored game is 1.00 and the censored is 1.00s. There are a couple of close ups of their faces which made me initially assume both versions of my game were censored despite the patch. But luckily I got a good view of Aoba and Noiz's nether regions so I was happy to be proved wrong ahaha. I would recommend to the others trying to get the patch to work is pay attention to the config version number before and after to see if it changed because it seems to vary depending on the computer it is installed on.

Can confirm that the 1.00/1.00s thing does vary - for me, the 1.00s was the censored one. I'm now trying again to get the patch to work, I'll make a few tweaks in my M.O. to know exactly what made it go wrong :p

EDIT: I think it's working now! At least FOR now? So here's what I did:
- uninstalled game
- uninstalled all backup files
- reinstalled game
- somehow old saved files were still there, deleted those too
- unzipped patch, opened the folder, copied the two files and the patch folder onto the DMMD steam folder, allowed it to overwrite the files, did not touch the "patch" folder
- did NOT ask steam to verify integrity

And I finally got to see Noiz's pierced peanuts! Yay ^_^

I just recently purchased the patch but i am so confused on the downloading process. When I try to extract the patch file, it prompts me to choose a folder to extract it to. When I tried extracting it with the original destination I did not see it in the local files. How do I get it to show up there? I also dont have a dmmd data folder. I'm not sure what step I'm doing wrong or what I'm missing

I tried not to verify integrity but steam auto updated my game so it went back to version 1.00s. How did you skip the auto update process?
