When on Earth did this happen? "I like seeing gay guys have sex" in no way, shape or form correlates to "gays are only good for having sex". Talking to you is like talking to a brick wall educated on Twitter High. You think you're so woke and progressive by pointing out that, since you like seeing one thing, it means it costs their humanity and autonomy since I didn't specify and I "have no right to" consume... bad yaoi games.
Again, I repeat, are you usually this smart or did you take IQ-enhancing lessons before coming to this thread?
Yes, because men definitely are taught as they grow up that their only purpose in society is to have children and stay at home being compliant. Stop using blatantly false equivalence to push some made-up point that girls seeing gay dudes ♥♥♥♥ = men fantasizing about having sex with lesbians.
I'd like to inform you, also, that your IQ-enhancing professor is definitely a sellout. I don't think you've increased it by a single point at all.
i said ♥♥♥♥♥ where
However, people who say there is literally NO issue with LGBT in the game clearly did not pay attention to the plot/characters. Out of 6 main characters we have 3 who are clealry written as "straight" (Aoba, Kojaku, Mink) - Mink had a wife, duh, and Kojaku Aoba are clearly stated to have never been attracted to a man before - so "straight goes gay" trope because the guy is super hot or what not. Clear and Ren are not human, so sexuality is not even applicable to them. And the sole exception is Noiz who is the only character heavily implied not to have his first time with a man and is pretty eager to get it on with Aoba even when he does not "love" him yet.
And BECAUSE Noiz is an exception, Aoba calls him "weirdo", "new age kid", "strange". "guy playing for THAT team", even "disturbing" I think at some point, though do not quote me on this one - I played this some time ago. Yeeeeah... So the only guy pretty much stated to be gay gets a treatment like this.
My point is: the game is not written with modern LGBT values in mind and it is not an issue with the game or a writer - it is simply a reflection of Japanese society's attitudes in 2012 (though not the worst offender by a landslide). It is still a great game and one of the best VN ever made, pretty much a "must-play" for BL fans, so just enjoy the game for what it is, it is a consumer product and was never meant to be groundbreaking or portray LGBT in a realistic fashion
i do!!!!
