ERROR in action number 1 of Create Event for object obj_manager_game:
I played the game since launch day for 2 hours and it worked fine. However, since yesterday I'm getting the following error when trying to launch it:

"___________________________________________
############################################################################################
ERROR in
action number 1
of Create Event
for object obj_manager_game:

index out of bounds request 1 maximum size is 1############################################################################################
gml_Script_scr_data_settings_load (line 18)
gml_Script_scr_data_load (line 7)
gml_Object_obj_manager_game_Create_0 (line 28)"

I did update some drivers on my machine, which also caused a few other headaches, but can someone provide any clues on what could be causing it? I already tried reinstalling the game but didn't have any luck

It seems your "setting.dat" file is corrupt now, maybe after updating drivers. Try this:

1) Navigate to: C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\evil_tonight
2) Delete (or cut and paste elsewhere) the "settings.dat" file.
3) Run the game.

This will create the "settings.dat" file from scratch.

If it crashes again, then your saved game files are corrupt as well, so you should delete them ("save1.dat", "save2.dat", etc.).

I hope that helps.

Thanks for the help. Like I said, since I had other issues I ended up formatting the computer and it's running fine again. Hopefully this can be helpful to someone else, since I saw this error mentioned for other games

I have this problem too but, I followed your instructions and still can't open the game, what should I do?
