Sewing room chest combination

I have no idea what the solution here is supposed to be. I have the hint from the VHS giving four letters, I have a hint about a calendar with some days circled, and I have the hint from the projector, but I don't see any way to put these together and figure it out. I tried looking at the guide in the community section and there the person says they don't know what the puzzle was and just brute forced it.

Am I missing a hint somewhere or am I just not thinking hard enough? Surely you aren't meant to just brute force different combinations of those four letters, right?
