Portrait puzzle difficulty thoughts

Don't worry, this isn't a rant thread, more of a slight concern if anything!

I'm really enjoying this game a bunch, and while it took me a while to figure it out, I felt really pleased with myself when I figured out what the portrait order was. (Can't lie, I was stuck for a bit till I had an idea, and busted out the pen and paper!)

I get the feeling however, that a lot of people are gonna bounce off this puzzle super hard, and get frustrated to the point of quitting. The hint to the puzzle makes perfect sense in hindsight, but might be just a little too vague for some people to figure out the trick; it might be worth reconsidering rewording it to make it slightly clearer.

I beat that one on my own but I got stuck at 4 letters box for a bit. I couldn't get it on top of my head to just repeat the thing from the video room.

Imho, puzzle aren't "hard", they are very specific. Not a rant but I found the portrait and the 4 letters box puzzles easy but I spent a lot of of time with the 6 diggits box puzzle.

OP was a good enough hint for me to solve it, but I've been stumped a couple times already with this game. Either way I'm enjoying it

no its not simple its so random and i suck at math.

Math is my bane. It's simple math anyways, but i pulled out an age calculator for it cause heck if i'll be able to do it without making a mess.

I found the 6 diggits box quite obvious, but I can't say I figured it out right away. Now I'm stuck at the portraits and can't find any clue.

Yep, I'm bouncing off, not quitting yet, however. I like the challenge, but I'm worried if it's not too much for me.

hmm for me the portrait puzzle was instant. Like I beat it second try.

Almost every puzzle was almost instant. The only one that got me stuck for a bit was the first one, the one with many numbers. I tried to make so much stuff with all those numbers lol. Adding them, putting them on a list and then trying to find some logic. I spent about 30 minutes until I noticed the difference in color, because I was already looking at the notebook I had copied the numbers instead of the game itself.

The image above says 1926, not 1936.

Would have solved this puzzle in 3 attempts, but because of this little trick - ended up spending an hour or so trying absolutely everything and failing.
Look it up on YouTube - "WHAT! I already tried that! Why isn't it working for me?"

Can someone help just started today in stuck on the 6 digit my problem being 1 number looks darker than the res tand that isnt the answer stuck and cant progress

...I now know why I kept failing, I guess. The damn numbers were hard to read! I was playing on Switch in handheld mode because I did not have access to a larger screen for several weeks! Made me freaking rage-quit!

I didn't have a chance to check for myself the "magnifying glass" Steam Deck feature, but it seems more useful than before.
