Sad, but not a deal breaker.
Guess it ain't a biggie considering all the other drama goin on. It is what it is.
Just ask anyone whose served in the armed forces... The amount of sleeping around that goes on in the military is unreal. An ex army nurse I spoke to told me she was constantly having to send women on leave for pregnancy, or discharge men and women for having multiple STDs...
And I'm not saying the game has to go that far. It doesn't have to depict sex or cheating, much less orgies, or the consequences of STDs and/or pregnancy, but Romance/lust/love is a part of the human experience, we are conditioned to feel the need for an intiment connection, and thus naturally a realistic/complex/layered/immersive game would include elements of it.
Not saying the game is bad without romance. Just I don't understand people who dislike romance in games, because for me it makes the characters feel more human/real and relatable, if they actually have emotions and desires, and are in or are pursuing relationships. I especially love when it's a choice in the game, so you can pick which partner you want, or even remain single if that's your thing. Then everyone wins.
