I can understand some of them, creating a good multiplayer code is HARD, and it can take time. The code must be created with multiplayer in mind.

But my god, a game like this one, singleplayer, I can't, I just can't.

Oh that's totally understandable but how many games have come out in this genre that players been begging for multiplayer as these devs just don't do their research into what players want, they seem to all barge into the single player band wagon and then see that "oh they want multiplayer" well not in this game sorry guy we only had single player in mind....is usually what they say back to the fans, and then the game slowly fades away into the background. Its kinda sad to see really that Devs these days just don't look into what people want and it almost like the get so engrossed with there concept they forget who their base players are. I seen this game advertise on Facebook and the Key words were "Cut grass" and "Run a company" i was dam this looks cool, i sent the link to bunch of friends who i game with, unfortunately that one question came up..."Ooooh is it multiplayer"....i looked into it, and well now here i am. Might be a cool game for a while, but i learnt my lesson from Gold rush.

Yes you are totally right, fully agreed with you! I would write you about Gold Rush but it seem you already know ... LOL

But we are lucky with this one, there is good devs too, "Gold Hunter" will fix that somewhere between 2022 and 2024, I'm so impatient.

guys not all sim games have to be mutiplayer im sure this game will be fun solo plus with mutiplayer sure it be more fun but more of a headache to because you have to plan around who mows where who dose what ect ect at least with solo you can take your time do things in your own pace mow the way you want to mow

Playing solo is borring after a certain time. Look at the most popular game on Steam, they are all multiplayer! ;) Good MP games is the way if you want to sell copies!

Just in my close friends, we are about 5 who want to play a foresty game like this one, but any of us want to play solo because it's boring. We're are currently playing forestry on Farming Simulator because this one is solo...

Same thing for farming simulator, FS is a big success because MP and mods. It's the way to go!

Eh, there's been a good decade where devs introduced MP to absolutely everything regardless of whether it makes sense and wasted a lot of time trying to get it to work at all instead of making a good game.

Besides, this is a lawn mowing simulator. I'm confused anybody thinks the world needs this in the first place. What's next, car parking simulator? Grass growing simulator?

IMHO, Multiplayer is so overrated. Maybe it's just the generation I grew up in. But I'm more than happy to sit and play a game like this by myself. It's relaxing. The only MP game I play is iRacing.

Not every game, especially a sim, has to be multiplayer. Plus, if they would have multiplayer that's fine, but I'd rather have a stable and solid single player experience first. If they have multiplayer on release it could be buggy and what not and die faster than if multiplayer came as a fleshed out update later on. Let them release a fleshed out and stable game. Then let the multiplayer and mods come later.

It really is and I don't get it to be honest. Not every game has to have multiplayer. When it comes to games like this, I'd rather have a solid, fleshed out, single player experience over a rushed and buggy whole game, just because devs were pressured into allocating resources into too many things. If multiplayer happened say, 6 months to a year down the line okay sure, then it might be neat.

Too many games now days get overly ambitious and think they have to include multiplayer to appeal to people or the game wont get played. This in turn affects the entire game and ruins the experience for everyone, single player and multiplayer alike.

Yeah I'm not sure why this request comes up for nearly every game these days, to the point of being a deal breaker if it's not available. I agree with Ziero's post above.

Because I have friends! :') I don't play solo, never, same thing for my friends. Multiplayer game is the way to go if you want to make money as a developer! ;)
