Eco mower

I can only get so far, then the next jobs require an eco mower, even if i trade mine in its still not enough $$ to cover it..basically im stuck..help

Take out loans.

I did notice that the quality of your performance on the early jobs improves their chance of repeating, so you can continue to do them and make enough money without loans to buy an ECO mower (with trade-in), which can be used on any job. You may have to delete an old save and start over a couple of times to get better, or try the Free Mow mode from the main menu and practice with that until you get good enough to earn the time bonuses. Then, when you're ready for the career mode, you can get more money for doing a better job, and more non-ECO jobs open up.
