No reason to play after 2 employees =(
I have a huge amount of reputation and I'm stuck grinding these $300 lawns with two employees.

It's a great game with a lot of fun potential, but if the business aspect isn't developed at all, there's no reason to play after a while.

I mean, what's the use of the $30000 lawn mower if there's only litter collecting gigs available? A $300 backyard will hardly pay for the gas of that thing, much less the overhead of a 6-spot garage.

The expensive mowers do indeed make some jobs easier, but don't really give you more than jobs being easier. The game does not need more wheels recognized, it needs more lawns.

You're stuck at $300 lawns? I have lawns reaching $3000 or more. I just advertised and they started showing up. I do agree there needs to be more content though. Odd that there aren't too many striping jobs.

I exoect he's just saying that only high value lawns make sense for the big mowers, not that he only gets 300 Pound lawns.
Advertising does not bring in jobs, it just increases RP. As you level up as a result of increased RP, more jobs become available, advertising just speeds that up. My current company has never placed an ad and is progressing to more jobs just because I and my employees accumulate RP from doing jobs.

So I'm advertising with all available methods, and 5/5 available gigs were 300-600£.

I just don't see the point of hiring employees, career progression or advertising if the price of gigs don't go up.

You should certainly see 1500 and 2500 pound jobs mixed in, pretty randomly though. The low pay jobs don't go away, just some high price ones sprinkle in as you level (RP) increases.
Again, advertising does not attract jobs, it is just a way of buying RP.
Employees increase income of course, and allow you to act as manager by turning days over in a few moments or a few minutes as your employees earn cash and RP. You can gain a lot of cash and RP pretty quickly that way...
