UE Commandos game fatal error

Game crashes right at the beggining with just one small window error.
(played on game pass)

I'm sorry to hear that you got issues starting the game.

What does the error-message display? Is there an error-code?
Does this happen before the game starts or shortly after starting the game?

- a short description of the issue
- a screenshot of the error-message
- and your DxDiag.txt attached.
To create a DxDiag.txt, please click "Start" button and choose "Run". Or alternatively, press (Windows-Button)+R. Then type "dxdiag" and click “OK”. Click the "Save all Information"-button and save the file as "dxdiag.txt”.

If you use Steelseries Sonar, try to close the program. Without that my game is stabil and working fine.

Finally I could play the mission.
It was right when I had to talk to the official when you start controlling the character the first time.
If it appears again I will send you the screenshot and files.

My crash was tha same. The game always crashed when some in-game animation started and the sound disappeared.

I am also having this issue - the game seems to crash with a DX fatal error right after a cutscene has finished playing. The error window appears, and the sound cuts out. The game can still be played without sound, but will stop responding after any alt-tab.

I am also using SteelSeries GG, just as is k0nk3y.

Just update graphics card drivers and close steel series gg start yor game and enjoy it =)

I can bet you that that's not related to SS... the game crashed 15 times today... no SS sonar or whatever it's called.
I'm playing the game on 2 different machines, I really like the game and the gameplay (even if it's simplistic compared to C2 and C3)... Both crash, the configurations are wildly different.
AMD vs Intel, PC vs Laptop, Nvidia vs Nvidia... ups, let me try AMD GPU :), Time to open a
3rd ticket probably.

Opened a ticket for 2 machines, will wait and see, maybe the game will get some updates.
