Extending the Commandos Experience

As a long-time fan of the Commandos series, I've always cherished their unique and captivating gameplay. The only drawback for me has been the limited number of missions. I could easily play them endlessly if there were more. I even enjoyed some fan-made maps for the first Commandos, which significantly extended my playtime.

The news of 14 missions in the demo is encouraging. With the right difficulty level, this should provide substantial longevity. However, eventually, the main campaign will be completed.

I believe that allowing fan-made maps and potentially including a map editor would significantly enhance the game's longevity. This would give the community the tools to create and share countless new missions, keeping the game fresh and engaging for a much longer time.

Missions from Behind Enemy Lines and Beyond the Call of Duty followed by the missions from C2 would be great addition /DLCs to the game. I would gladly pay for that.

If the trailers are anything to go by, at least some missions are rehashes from previous games. For example one trailer clearly showed the island from the first mission of Beyond the Call Of Duty.

I'm on mission 14, and while I can play the missions again on a different difficulty, I'd really like a community map editor, as you mentioned. I think it could really breathe life into the game. Is there any news about any DLC being worked on?

We aren't even close to the next patch to get the game into a more polished and finished state.
