Pre-Determined Moves almost on schedule?

Ok, what I mean here is if your using two characters and they both needs to make moves in unicen it virtually impossible to switch between the two units to change the different actions.

SO how about a pre-determined path and actions, so basically if I select one characters to do X, Y & Z so essentially record a group of actions and then do the same for the other character to do A, B & C and then at the right moment they will both go and perform those actions.

This would bring in a whole new dimension of interaction as you can record the characters doing a bunch of things and they could both be enacting them out then in real time giving you the ability to takeout enemies or performing different tasks and not always only being able to move one unit, this would be awesome!
