Partial temporary fix for DLSS
1. Quit the game
2. Open
C:\Users\YourUser\AppData\Local\Commandos\Saved\Config\WinGDK\GameUserSettings.ini"
3. Change DLSSQuality=Off to (=UltraQuality or =UltraPerformance). I have not tested other options.
4. Save the file
5. Set the file to read only

Note: Do not enter the menu at any time, or the settings will be reset. Use QuickSave and QuickLoad (F5+F8 or the buttons in the interface at the top edge). Thank you to Indy for the additional info.

It does not really work, well not entirely.

If you manually edit the INI and make it read-only it will work after game is first started and a map is loaded, but if you open games menu (ESC button) for anything - DLSS will be disabled till the game is restarted.

So that leaves you only with QuickSave and QuickLoad options.

The game is really poorly optimized so without DLSS there is really no point playing it.

After a moment of joy, the solution of editing the .ini doesn't work. The game always restore it after the launch.
1) After editing the INI file you need to make it READ-ONLY in Windows' file properties, so that game itself is blocked from changing it.

2) Start up the game and go straight to load saved game. Do not go to settings menu.

3) In game (mission map) use just F5 (QuickSave) and F8 (QuickLoad).

4) Do not press ESC key anytime during gameplay, if you see a games menu for even 1 second it will disable DLSS.

You can use Nvidia App Overlay to monitor GPU usage and power consumtion, with DLSS enabled it will be lower in same place on the map.
