Is the unique demo mission just gone now?

The mission from the demo apparently won't be included in the final release. Is it just gone now?

the demo mission probably was only for testing purpose so i assume its gone but we will get other missions including a introduction in its place.. i personally did find the demo mission quite boring and easy so hope the rest of the game isn't

If you have the demo already downloaded, open the folder and click the exe. It still works, and I tested it.

I was trying to see if I could find a way over to kill the remaining Nazis on the far side of the map past the building fences and the tank. No such luck so far.

the demo seems to be a small part of one of the missions, so it will still live in the game probably.
