Seems like co-op was ditched, and they "might" consider revisiting the idea in the future, according to the devs on this thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1479140/discussions/0/5769715023490856207/
In a game where reaction time can be really important, playing from a stream is so bad.
They should just include every options and let players pick and choose how they want to play.
I'd much rather pay for the game and have less delay by playing online coop.
Ah interesting, I've never had an issue with play together lagging. It's just usually awkward to start games that way because every dev seems to set it up different.
