Partition Walls

So I'm at the point in the playtest where I build the partition walls. I finished them, but it's not advancing to the next step. I've backtracked around to see if I missed a screw somewhere to no avail. Not sure if this is a bug or I'm just missing something.

You aren't the only one. I too am on that part, as well as someone else here. All walls completed, nothing more to do. I am like 99.999% sure its a bug.

You need to place the insulation down on the floor highlight first and then more mortar and bricks.

All that is done. Everything for all the walls are done.

I would have expected a notification that it was the end of the play test. Feels odd to just cut it off full stop like that with no notice saying that it was the end.

Mine has advanced to the next part after building the walls. I did have one screw at the bottom of a wall. I struggled to get the top layer of mortar but used the table. It's not very well explained though that's for sure.

It's not the end, that happens when you've finished the building (all roof tiles).

Are you certain you've finished the walls? I found that the mortar line required for the last section of the concrete partition walls is hard to see

I checked over and over, the bricks are at the very top, no room for mortar, no missing screws. I feel like its situational. Such as if you miss one thing (inside) the walls before you screw both sides of the drywall, it bugs out.

If you played the tutorial it tells you to use insulation on the ground first where its highlighted

A video of what? We have the walls all completed. Both the brick walls, and the drywall walls. I don't see how a video is going to help in this situation?

The screws can be difficult to see as they dim to black and get lost against the really ugly concrete ceiling. I have just finished the playtest and there is more to come in the form of the roof, then it tells you it is the end.

Has anyone figured out how to finish? Or is it a bug?

Use the stool in the radial menu it helps to see up high on the walls inside the house and you can pick it up and move it around. Make sure your not missing a brick in the corner where all the walls meet. You might have to tear the wall down some.
