Ofc!

-Yes there are use of stat checks. Not a lot, but it's there. Most of them depend on the Charisma stat, but some on Intelligence and other stats.

-No romancing options unfortunately.

-Yes there are recruitable companions with stories, quests and banter. Not a lot here either, but there a couple.

-Game will cost $15/£15 but have a launch discount.
