game doesn't start

when i cklick the play button- it goes to 'stop' like always when a game is running and back to 'play' again. no error message.
i already tried: verifying game files, restarting pc, new installation, checked the firewall-this game is allowed. All other steam games run fine. PC specifications should be enough. i can play more demanding games just fine. (Win10)

I am having the same issue. When I press play the game does not launch and the icon just changes back to play. I am on Win8 pro so I don't know if I need some sort of update or not.

I had the same issue, so perhaps this will help you.

I run Windows 10 Education N - the "N" version indicates that some media features are not installed by default. This means some libraries that the game relies on were missing. I was able to get Diggles running by:

1) Installing the Windows Media Feature pack appropriate for my Windows version.
2) Enabling the "Media Feature Pack" in Windows settings under optional features/functions.
3) Restarting the PC to complete a short update.

The game then starts correctly. Hope this helps.

Alright, look for the german community, you are russian, we are german, we all understand english. I give you two links. You have to look for Chris. HE is THE expert for problems with the game. I play the game on Windows 10 with the original Disc. He did it.

Good luck, I am sure they will solve the problems. I think you will need the patch for the graphics, but you can get it there and the instructions also.
