Cannot find the Loreley

I just can't find this Loreley. after i found the other dwarfs and the ring i dig to the left of it in the depth but it is not there. Until I get down at some point and can't dig deeper. restarted several times and dug into the deep there ... nothing. can anyone tell me whether this is a known bug or how I can solve it ???

Lorelei is the statue next to the dwaves. You must solve the light puzzle next to it in order to progress.

I found the cavern with all men frozen in what looks like ice. Lorelei looks like a ice sculpture. It was on the right side of the brains living area towards the top where you dig down to gain entrance to their living area. You will find a castle type area with 5 short towers. Click on them to rotate the different colored stream of light to face the center tower. You have to have several, maybe 10 plus processed crystals to put in holders to direct the beam of light down to the cavern the Men are in. I think the triangle shaped amulet activates the center tower. I have done it in the past, but not able to get it to work now. I am hoping someone may answer my question so I can proceed. Good luck.

Sometimes, instead of spawning the Lorely to the right (! never the left !) of the Brain village (which is the usual place), it can spawn below the big troll castle. You need to take the way that is at the right side of the troll castle, go downwards and dig.
