I am trying to play the game with 4 other players and i found a bug.
Whenever i move a piece to any place on the table, on my client it is where i left it, but to the other players client, the piece will allways go to the middle and stay there.
2 of those players live in the same house and somehow can move around the pieces and don't suffer from the bug, everyone can see where they put the pieces ingame and it is al well syncronized. But when it's me or the other remaining player moving a piece, it will go to the middle for all other clients.
Good luck with the bug hunt & fixing them :)
Cheers
we where 3, me and another person had the same stats, the third person saw different stats.
Thanks very much for the detailed information! It really helps me narrow down this bug, that I've been unable to reproduce on my own machines. I just made an update that may fix this bug.
I'm wondering if it would be possible for you to test whether pieces are now showing up as moving correctly when you play with one of the other people who had this problem?
And if it is still not working, would you be willing to email the log file to me? The log would be located at:
C:\Users\[your windows username]\AppData\LocalLow\IronZog\Puzzle Together\Player.log
And you can email it to: contact@ironzog.com
I know this is a lot to ask, I'd be happy to give you some free puzzles in the game if you'd like :)
- the name tags of 2 players stacked over the game and at one point point there were 7 player tags what made the play field very messy. they also stayed in new games, even the player didn't join.
- 2 of us had problems with fps sinking to 9 FPS after playing on a puzzle for few hours
- 2 players couldn't move some pieces (all on the left side) after a few hours ingame
- we completed a puzzle but 2 players coudn't see the last piece, it was missing on their game
Hope you can find/fix the bugs :) I think it's a very fun game and I will look more into it in the future!
Soulfang - Thanks for letting me know about these issues! I will look into them.
Glad to know the bug is fixed, good work and thanks! ;)
Even the previews of the puzzles are not loading, any idea?
I fixed this bug yesterday so it shouldn't happen anymore, but let me know if it does!
What is it showing on screen? And what had you done right before it got stuck? Also have you tried restarting the game?
the loading screen is showing
Restarting, Reinstalling, nothing helps
Many times pieces overlap the puzzle or other pieces, even though they are not doing that on their puzzle.
