What? Do you mean verifcation of files? Exit the Beta branch if you have it selected. You need NONE. Next, disable autorun, restart your PC, uninstall the program, manually delete the HudSight and hudSight 2 folders in the hidden system folder ProgramData. Press Win+R and type %programdata% for that. Restart the PC, install HudSight 2, start. Now is ok?

Honestly we don't see in support multiple problems with input lag in L4D2 or any other games. Probably you need to update Windows, remove some third-party overlays (RTSS?), Steam overlay, Xbox Gamebar, update video driver by uninstalling the current one using DDU utility, DirectX, VS C++ game libraries, perform a clean installation of HudSight 2, as I wrote above, with deleting all settings. Uninstall the game completely if there were or are any graphics mods or in the startup options. Try all this and report back with the result, maybe I'll remember something else that I usually recommend and helps.
