Refunding it, here is why, so those who think about buying it be warned.
First of all game starts in Chinese with no option to change language and shows you a one time wall of text you have to accept. Sketchy as hell and a major red flag. After this it gets stuck on loading, restarting lets you get into the tutorial and see some of the most basic level MTL poetry ever. Its cringeworthy how there are games on steam and fan translations made via machine translation that are actually good while this game has still early 2020 level of nonsensical poetry. Of course during the 30 minute i gave this game a try i also had 5 or 6 freezes.
SO to sum it up.
1. Red Flag in having to accept something without being able to read it, cause its in Chinese.
2. Langauge change option is very hard to find. Releasing a game with supposed English support than forcing someone who does not know Chinese click randomly to find it is unacceptable and anti consumer.
3. Translation is the worst kind of MTL.
4. Very frequent freezing of the game, 5-6 times in 30 minutes.

Well, it is a huge problem that there isn't a language option at the start of the game.
But just to clarify the first point you mention, the pop up window is just a developer announcement for some in game event there isn't any "accept button".
The rest is pretty solid, they need to improve the freezing problem for sure.

Good to know, still the Machine Translation is of very low quality and the freezing is frequent enough to be a problem. But thanks for the clarification.

Hello,we're the Depersonalization development team, and we're aware of this problem I’m sorry for responding to this discussion so late. May I ask if you are playing on a Mac computer, Windows computer, or Steam Deck?
Also, could you confirm if your game version is 2.0.30?
We would appreciate it if you could provide us with detailed information about the game freeze.

Steam on a windows PC, version was 2.0.30. From what i pointed out points 2 and 4 are the ones that i considered the worst. The translation was clearly done in DeepL but i would probably not refund over just the translation if the game would work without constant crashes and freezes.
When i turned the game on for the first time i was watching the loading screen for 5 minutes thinking it was loading the game cause the loading screen is animated and it was moving so it was clearly not frozen, but after 5 minutes it was still loading so i decided to turn the game off as something was clearly not right for a game this small to still load after 5 minutes. After that on second start it got through normally in a few second, but during gameplay it was freezing every few minutes.
Hope this will be some feedback helping in improving the game.

I have played the game for over a year now on windows os both 10 and 11, not once delt with the game freezing.

What are your system specs? Do you meet all RECOMMENDED specs and run the game on a SSD?

I will just add that in the absence of changing the default language, One of the best ways to tell someone where the language options are is just by adding a flag icon to each language and have it somewhere on the title screen. If clicking it takes you to the language changes and the flags are next to each option, then you will save yourself some trouble.

Yeah, it is hard to change the language if you don't know what to look for. I don't know Chinese but I played enough Chinese games to recognize the letters by shape.

Fun fact: Take a photo of the text using a phone, go to gallery and there'll be a T font in yellow, click that and copy the text, then run it through a translator. This is how I understand games that are in other languages and doesn't take a lot of time.

I think you dont understand what a product is. Do you buy a car to put it together and install the engine in it yourself? The moment you need to put additional work for a product that should be complete the moment you know its a bad product.
The game is considered a full release not a demo, beta or early access and is marketed as a game that supports English language, the moment you need to blindly find the language change OR put work into translating it yourself, no matter how easy it is, its a bad game, badly designer and badly marketed.
