I will play this game but... this gem deserves an better english tranlation!

As I wrote I will still try to play it but my first experince is not an good one when it comes to this kind of "translation".

Firstly when I try right click something in my bag then the displayed options are partly in chinese I think and partly in english. Thats irritating.

Secondly I encountered in under an hour from this first module numerous bad "translation" attempts which nearly killed my interest... but this game has so much potential!
Addendum: after another hour in the first module I need to say that its not so bad like I thought it would continue. Now its "only" the untranslated bag items that bothers me.

Its really a shame that this kind of interesting story dont have an appropriate translation. It deserves better!

Hope the devs will do something about it... also I didnt find the "better english mod" in the workshop. Was it deleted?

That concludes my first impression, I think I love this game but its nonetheless difficult for me to do so, so please dear devs think about it! You reach so much more people with an good english translation!

devs should at least use AI to translate it's not hard

Devs did use AI to translate in fact you can randomly see the script update in real time.

Yeah and thats how I think its not "good" translated. I can read it with help of context but this game is so good that it just deserves better. Currently I am done with "Module 2" (The 1first and second Modules are the only ones with an human translation) and just waiting for the other parts to get translated. I dont want to ruin my experience... Also that content is so good but so little... Hopefully they do create more modules...

Im just surprised you can get some sense out of it cuzz I find it very difficult to grasp everything that is happening.

Also theres no way module 1 was human translated not only are there plenty of mistakes but the scene that plays for the Interstate Bridge shows for a split second Chinese before updating to English.

The devs atleast stated Module 1 and 2 was "professional translated" as you can see on the dev update from Sa, 03. Id like to believe that but as soon as I saw Chinese update in real time I knew right away theres an AI script.

Not only that but very frequently the text can randomly revert back to Chinese, this happens with all the menus so far.

Id like not to throw any shade at anybody, but whomever allowed the release of this without checking first that we can't see the language update in real time shouldn't of been in charge.

I played the game for 5 minutes. Even though English is my second language, the tutorial was riddled with grammar errors, misspellings and gibberish where you could barely understand what the intention is. This felt so immersion breaking that I just knew that I could never lose myself in this game. Shame. The promise looks amazing, but the translation is really, really bad and could have been done better by using DeepL and a native speaker to proof read once.

Yeah thats why I had made my own post about it. All I kept thinking in my head is am I supposed to understand whats happening cuzz I dont. All I knew was some eldritch abominations were invading different time periods causing various people to go crazy or the town was like silent hill. Like when you break it down to the absolute dumbest level the story is simple to understand but good luck trying to follow along with the absolute chaotic ride it takes you on.
