Either the developer has died or has abandoned this game. No new patches for reported bugs, no answers to questions from players, no activity on the game at all.

Correct, the developer did not make this a lifetime coverage game. It is complete. Not dead, not abandoned...just finished. Not saying it isn't broken btw. It may be.
