Whole map not unlocked?

Hello! I'm currently playing through the content of the new update, I noticed the whole map is not unlocked for me, there's fog in certain areas making me unable to reach certain locations, like the location of one of the photo side-missions. I have unlocked every Torii Gate, do I have to find all graffiti's or such? Many thanks in advance!

Did you initiate the side quest for the new school location? (Quest start is near Yamaki Shrine and Kirigaoka Shrine) This will reveal a new torii gate to cleanse. The update only added the one gate.

Yes I've completed the school questline, it's only small sections of maybe 2-3 unlocked areas that are blocked by fog, like the very bottom right side of the map. Sorry if I make it sound confusing, but in a nutshell some parts of already unlocked areas are still covered in fog and I can't figure out why for the life of me haha

I know the area you are talking about... check out this link and look at the map. If your map looks like mine then you are able to do that quest.
The bamboo grove beyond the cement wall is off-limits. You just need to see the tree stump and caution tape from the road.

I know the area you are talking about... check out this link and look at the map. If your map looks like mine then you are able to do that quest.

Ah you're absolutely right, thank you very much! If not for you I would probably have lost like 5 years of my life to stress trying to figure everything out haha
