Blue Stones

So I've managed to find 2 key items called Blue Stone, the description reads
"Akito randomly picked up this strange blue stone. If you look at it closely, it seems to glow from within.

It doesn't seem to be naturally-occurring, but it also doesn't show any signs of being industrially modified.

When shaken, it makes a rattling noise.

They say that some stone have special powers, so it couldn't hurt to just hold onto it."

Has anyone else found these I found one on top shopping center with the Kuo Shrine, and another in an apartment blocked off by corruption.

I've found three, 2 in corrupted buildings + kuo shrine.

I've also found where to place them, in the school building left section top floor north. Find the Nurikabe (wall). Inside there is a table to put the stone. It seems to require 5-6 in total.

the problem is that we have no method of traking how many do we need and where are the missing ones

What is the purpose of the stones?
It is a fun easter egg. You will receive a wearable, music, and an item for photos.

I did not receive an achievement.

How many blue stones does it require and where are they?
It requires 6 blue stones.

If i remember right, I found 2 in the new interiors of apartments/houses.

1 in the forest behind Kirigaoka Shrine.

1 on top of the school gym (south-west corner of building).

1 in the underground where you lose KK for the first time.

1 on the very tippy top of the highest skyscraper (at Shibuya Scramble).

It's new content on a game people finished and don't seem too eager to pick back up /shrug
There's also another easter egg in game, not sure if it was there prior to the update. But when searching for the new KK notes, there's an area with in-game photos taken by players. Nice little gallery.

I cant find all but one:( The only one i am missing is in the house or apartment one do you know specifically where it is I found the one in the gym outside, underground, skyscraper, forest, and one inside the apartment complex. But I been looking for new places and i think I covered them all. Thank you for posting this....I wish they had a tracker for these stones lol

I was having troubles with this as well. The new interior areas don't have a symbol until you enter them once, so if you don't accidentally happen upon them you may not find them for a while. Most (if not all) of the new interior areas have spirits inside, so you can find the areas you're lacking 100% spirits in on the map and then scan around with Spirit Perception beads as long as you have them. The last stone I was struggling to find was on the northern end of the Noto Shrine area. Hope it helps.

To the absolute mad men and women trying for these damned stones there are 6, 1 on top of the school gym to the south west, 1 in front of the underground shrine IN THE MIDDLE in one of the craters in that huge room, 1 in the absolute highest point of the game in the Shibuya tower, 1 in the middle of the forest it takes some spirit searching for it but it'll make a distinctive bell noises and finally the last 2 are in apartments. If you have the perception beads you can find the areas by using spirit sense. If you've 100% the game already and collected every spirit look for shrines that are suddenly incomplete and you'll find gems in those apartments. I know one apartment was in noto shrine, north. They'll always be apartments. Good hunting and it's kinda worth it. Ish.

They are new interior locations. They added more KK notes so there was enough experience for people to get the new abilities.

For anyone looking for the two apartments:
- Apartment 1 is located a bit north-west of Shiroyama Shrine
- Apartment Block, #101 is just north of Noto Shrine
Look for any signs of corruption
