Haven't dived too deep into the other quest but its essentially finding locations from a photograph.
There's a few new locations added to the world, I believe, I found two new interior locations.
The Spider's Thread is just a roguelite challenge mode akin to like The Summit from Division 2, you clear rooms with different objectives, go back to a hub and upgrade and so on. It's okay, not the best.
All in all, if you didn't like the base game, it's gonna be hard to bring you back for just this update as it'll still be fairly disappointing.

And again, most of the trippy sequences shows how capable the devs are. Sad
i agree that the content is fairly stale outside of a generic open world collectathon but to give credit where credit is due, this is by far one of the most impressive games I've ever seen in terms of atmosphere and worldbuilding, the virtual tourism of this game far outsells its actual status as a video game.
I especially hate new enemies. Wait for ages for these ♥♥♥♥♥ to stop hiding only to get attack window of all of half a second. Wow, what a ♥♥♥♥.
The section where Gutsy follows you relentlessly had me a little creeped out at times.
