Why are we ADDING denuvo a year after release? How does this make any sense.

I'm not gonna reinstall but if that's true that's insanely dumb and anti-consumer of them to add in a year after release when many wouldn't have bought it with it, especially at full price.

Doesn't say anything about it on the Store page. Loads of games have it, but it does seem kinda weird to add it after most of the game's sales have already happen.

If you scroll down to the bottom, you'll see:

"Modified – Snowfall/Binaries/Win64/GWT.exe (+263.42 MiB)"

Which quadruples the total of the executable size, a hard indicator of the addition. They also aren't obligated to change their store page because of it either.

Im not anti d, I own DEATHLOOP and Forespoken as of recently but it doesn't feel like my game especially if I can get locked out at any point. Definetly a huge dissapointment.

its 100% denuvo.
and it baffles me why they added it with the release of a FREE content update(i seen other devs do it with the release of paid dlc). what a waste of $$ a year after release.

Executable size is a 100% sign of addition of denuvo. It's not a "well maybe." It's quite literally a 4 times increase in one update.

But if you want certain proof, since they won't show it on their steam page, I'll get you some.

It just doesn't make sense... Why would a publisher OPT to add drm a year after it's release. That's just money burned that doesn't need to be. It sort of makes sense at the beginning of a release if you subscribe to the pirate jargon (I don't believe it, but a lot of people do) but why opt for a protection subscription a year after, and not mention anything about it... It's just so odd.
