Reflective surfaces glitchy unless I turn ray tracing on and max it
Have just started playing and noticed in the first areas a quite distracting smear effect on reflective surfaces (windows, metallic doors in the first hospital area, wet street surface). These don't look reflective (or only partially, like one half of the surface) and the smear of colour moves around unrealistically as I move my camera. The only way I've found to make this look reasonable is turn on ray tracing and max all the ray tracing settings (still looks the same unless all RT sliders -> MAX). See the screenshots below, the first is on all max settings without RT, the second same settings with RT Maxed. In the first one, that smear of flat colour at the top of the door moves around as the camera moves, in the second it just shows a stable blurry reflection that one would expect. I'm on an i5-12600k and RX 6700 10GB, 32 GB RAM. Card runs hot with RT on max so would like to avoid that and I'm sure while I'm getting 60fps in the small corridors at the beginning this will tank in open areas, so I'd like to keep RT off. Anyone know any fixes, would appreciate anything that helps. Thanks!

EDIT: Have found the screen space reflection settings is also the cause of the problem, I can also eliminate the glitch by turning this setting completely off, though this kills the reflections in the game and looks quite bad also and I still see the glitch on glass surfaces.

On further investigation it seems the problem is also bizarrely related to mouse movement. If I don't move the mouse, just walking around with directional keys, everything looks fine. As soon as I move the mouse, even when standing still, the reflection problems occur.
