I think it's worth $12 just for the idea, the setting and the map. The combat takes a little getting used to because of the controls. But the finisher animations are pretty cool and satisfying. There are some funny things in this game, especially if you like cats and dogs.

You can request refund from Humble Bundle support for individual games not included in bundles not sure about Humble Choice.

I've been playing for a solid hour and I have to say, I'm enjoying it. I don't feel like the story is going to be mindblowing, the events are predictable already however I'm relishing the map, the combat makes me think of the HK supernatural flicks of the 80's (which I love, admittedly this is set in Japan but still it's the closest cultural reference point that came to mind, sadly there won't be any Jiangshi lol). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRoK8I-ONf0
