Sequel possible ?

What is the chance of a sequel coming out some time in future ? Or is this a one-off game ?

Sequel is highly likely. Just look at past games by this creator. At least 1 sequel for every game he made.

Well the game didn’t really end with a sequel. But I kinda doubt it, I don’t think it sold well compared to past releases. Plus being under MS now I highly doubt they want them to do a sequel.

The game creator expressed that he wants to make a sequel and DLC for the existing game but nothing has been confirmed yet. I saw this on internet. Maybe its too early to know that now, just play and enjoy this epic game we have right now!

Yeah, pretty sure it was already stated in either a video or text interview that a sequel would happen sooner or later. It hasn't been officially announced, but it was confirmed that a sequel is planned to be developed in the future alongside a game that is neither like TWE nor GT. TEW3 will also eventually be developed as well, it originally was meant to be what became GT.

I really love the devs who made this game (cuz they made evil within) but i dont think there will be a sequel.

This game didn't sold well and the game itself is pretty boring compared to masterpieces like evil within.

I really wish for TEW3 aswell since its my favorite horror game but im pretty sure the game is done, the story is over and there is nothing to tell about.

Except the make a totally new TEW3, with new characters etc.

What? I mean, for starters, Ruvik is still alive, who could've been working on a new STEM system all of this time, possibly one that is wireless and links everyone up into a sick fantasy land to force his own twisted ideals onto the world, etc... Still haven't tied up that loose end, and Mobius can always still be around/brought back.

I don't see how the story is over, let alone the series itself when storylines for series like Resident Evil/Silent Hill can be continued or straight up rebooted repeatedly.
