it doesnt matter if other games dont heat up your gpu, you dont even mention what games these are. its still most probably your GPU being the problem.
as mentioned you can use a custom fan curve. MSI Afterburner lets you do that.
for example a modern GPU with just one fan youll probably never be able to solve your problem when the GPU is in heavy use. because only 1 fan is often not enough to keep the temp down.
you might reduce the graphics settings and resolution so your GPU doesnt struggle so much, this way the temps should go down a little.
You forgot to list what GPU is in your rig.
my GPU is 3 fans and i have reduced the setting to low and the game is still hot, i don't think it's my GPU problem, if it is the problem all the games will get hot, but here the GPU heat up only with this game
You can use a custom fan curve, or cap your FPS if it worries you.
