No New Game+?!
I totally expected this game to have a new game plus. I guess i think of it as standard nowadays. Nope. The only things they let you carry over are the things that have no effect on gameplay like music and costumes. I liked the game enough to replay it but i won't be doing so until they add this.

Yeah i mean New Game+ has been a core feature in games for some time now, You'd think they'd just add it additionally along with the release of the game rather than waiting to add it in an update 13 months into the future

Yeah I would have replayed at some point with NG+ as I always enjoy running through a game again with my progress carried over, powers maxed out, that sort of thing. But without that? not really interested. At least not for a VERY long time.

Wait no NG+?! Pls add... I love this game for the atmosphere, like collecting stuff, and I would like to replay, but, I am not sure I wanna basically grind again for skills... :/

The only New Game+ is if you want to start a Tatari Mode run, but even then, it will still require doing everything as if it was a Hard playthrough, but now without the XP nor Leveling system in place.

Chapter 6 is supposedly a free play mode, and is the closest thing to it.

When you are done with this game and have 100% completion, that is it. No more.

This was my sentiment after finishing the game, as well. It's a short, beautiful game buried under hours of tedium (granted, the completed data logs and flavor text are great). I understand the need to pad out the playtime on the first run, but not having the option to keep the upgrades/collectables/unlocks/etc. and solely reset the story content is a shame. The ability to re-experience a game by casually blitzing out the narrative on a 100% completion save really shines with games that have this kind of narrative to padding ratio.

The only thing you do get is a set of beads that makes the main gameplay objective trivial, and if you got over 100% Spirits in the first playthrough, two additional Beads that give unlimited ammo and no detection radius, respectively.

Other than that, the map must still be completed.
