Is it? That is better then the companies previous two games. The first of which did well enough to get extensive dlc and a sequel. Which isn't what you would expect from numbers that would make something a bomb. Not everything has to be an Elden Ring level of success, plenty of games release with playercounts like this and have an appropriate budget enable that to be a financial success.
Look we get it, you like the game, doesn’t change the fact that it’s a massive commercial flop. Luckily for them they took a ps5 console exclusivity deal so got a big fat royalty cheque up front.
When you see companies sign those sort of deals it usually indicates they have zero confidence in their product to begin with
