Or at least something like Bioshock if they didn't want to make it so fast paced as Doom, with more depth to powers and interactions with the level design, the only thing you can interact are floating red canisters. Bioshock is 15 years old and the combat is much better.
Instead they opted to do a dull Far Cry clone, of all game design they could've copied they choose the most boring one.
Like a sword that have a hit limit that can be filled by grabbing those souls, so you can use souls for Katana or give it to Ed. This is Katana. She's got my back. I would advise not getting killed by her. Her sword traps the souls of its victims
oh well, its an okay Def not worth its asking price....feels kind of lower budget then I expected. Am just trying to finish and move on to something else.
at least the visuals are damn nice remind me a lot of DMC and I loved that game.
Yeah man I was hyped af for this game but ended up refunding it. The combat was incredibly boring but the world was cool
hopefully they make enough money to make a second/better game, cause the art design/concept is 10/10
Also no Lightning.
The story is set up to be something fairly grand, but it ultimately goes nowhere, and the characters aren't fleshed out enough to compensate.
The city looks great, but everything starts to blur together after awhile. It would have been nice to have more indoor settings and different times of day.
There's too much collecting, especially with the spirits. I felt like I spent more time vacuuming up spirits than I did fighting Visitors. Too much repetitive busy work for lackluster rewards. Why am I being rewarded with the ability to buy clothing items when the only time I'll see them are in cutscenes?
Disappointed, personally.
This game makes me wish we could get an RPG with this kind of setting (ghost/urban legend hunting).
