game is literally unplayable (fatal error)

was having fun until I got the Ue4-Snowfall game LowLevelFatalError Crash on start up every time i run the game. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still get the crash. Anyone else having this problem? this game is good (minus the crash and occasional fps drops).

Do you have an AMD gpu?
I do(6700xt) and I get this same error message sometimes as well. Not sure what causes it though, and/or why it only happens sometimes.

whats weird is that I was playing the game just fine and then next time I start it up it gives the error message and then crashes.

Me too. The first hour was fine . But after that Crash city.
And yeah the patch resolves nothing fot now....

I found a fix! go to the game files and delete the snowfall folder and then verify game cache. should run after that.

same for me if anyone found a help pls tell i get crashes and bad fps but i get fatal error only during 15 min of game play, the game runs well.

Snowfall is probably something the game actually uses, which means something within that folder is getting corrupted or the game isn't calling it properly, could it be your settings in game?
