Same on 5900x, 32gb ram with a 3080 and 980 Pro.
same. RTX 3060 + R5 5600 H (laptop)

Same here, 3080 and i7 5930k (6c /12t), 32GB ram, game on a SSD

It is an UE title, these usually have frame drops the first time you see any particular gfx per session, then it goes smooth. Hopefully UE5 fixes this.

Other than this, IMO, this actually seems like a great port. Running maxed out on 4K at 60 FPS constant outside of those drops, no RayTracing and TSR on Balanced. This is another thing that really surprised me: TSR. Even on Balanced it looks crispier than the DLSS Quality mode. Very impressed with this.

I'm on a 3070 / i9 10850k.

This is not a small stutter, this is game drops to single digit fps and stays there until you pause for some time in a menu or reload the game from title.

That sounds like it is taking a long long time for you to compile shader. Maybe you are experiencing thermal throttling? How are your system temperatures?

I have only minor hitches occasionally when (I assume) shaders are compiling. On an i7 7700k,RTX3080, 32gb ram, running from ssd. Otherwise the gameplay is pretty perfect (but cutscene video is show for now which is clearly a bug for many running beyond 1080p)

In my case it seems to have a severe memory leak, I've crashed 3 times now due to that issue after around 1 hour of gamplay, during the first half hour it runs fairly decent, but after 30 minutes of playtime it starts to drop framerate regardless if Ray tracing is on or off and any other graphics setting, other than that the game is working fine, not as good as I would expected having a R5 5600x, 16GB RAM, an SSD and a 3090, but sadly, it is to be expected now a days with games.

I only have very small stutters (0.1 second) and always when it seems to be loading in new stuff. I was playing on everything Ultra and ray tracing to the max, (Very well optimized btw, never dropped below 100 fps and looks really good!)

I hope the stutter can be fixed soon for those who are severly affected by it..

Absolutely not thermally throttled.

Might be related to some memory leaking too. I was playing fine, then upgraded a skill and while in that menu, things started to really lag out.

I think the game has issues with video playback too. There are videos on the skills screen that could have triggered this.

same problem, i9 9900ks 32 gigs of ram 3080 raid 0 mvne 2x 960gigs ssd mvne mp510 corsair, randomly that games drops +100 fps to 10 fps please fix that
Marsson Mar 25, 2022 @ 5:27am
Indeed. It runs really well for a time, and then plummets down to single digits. Running it on a i7 9700k and an rtx 3080. The game is installed on an nvme.

Again the same here. Elden Ring had the same crap going on until they patched it...
Game runs very well but gos down below 50 fps every so often then jumps back up to around 100 immidiately.

I've never had Elden Ring drop to 8 FPS. These two issues are definitely not at all the same issue.
