Ultrawide / Super ultrawide : it works native
Here a post to show some gameplay in super ultrawide 32:9.
Game and menus works in this ratio, only cutscenes are in 16:9

With RTX ON : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoSjQ13mYFU
With RTX OFF : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXzzsgiEEh4

Edit : using Flawless Widescreen last update, you can have a better FOV and also in game cutscenes in ultrawide / super ultrawide (except for pre-render cutscenes staying in 16:9)

Have you tried flawless wide-screen? It worked for dying light 2.

It wont give me full resolution on my Samsung G9 5120x1440 and it crashed hard with a "snow" game error. I'll try updating the graphics driver (although Im sure that'll mess up MSFS2020!)

I had to go in the G9 settings and switch back to 120 refresh to get full resolution.
