Report a translation problem
English voices probably say it outright as "property is theft", this is after you get the bow n arrow. I learned Japanese because I started noticing here and there that translators would start putting their ideological jargon in basically everything.
more or less, yes. i just abbreviated it for brevity sake.
Just a theory as to why this may have happened, it doesn't solve your dislike. Technically it would be something they could solve with a lot more translation work.
what?
Translations for english subs, are typically the scripts for english voice actors. However, for this game I don't know what the english actors said, but if history of the past 5 years+ of translations that ive seen, it probably holds true here as well.
it's not a new occurrence. To translate or Dub in such a way, with THEIR ideological tonation, is intellectually dishonest, if not downright dubious.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGtn41xAgi0 0:14 in this is a great example of ideological hijacking.
love seeing souls Ideology slip into everything now.
