Pre-rendered Cutscenes issue.
The cut scene video runs slow. The audio runs at normal speed and the cut scene ends when the audio ends, so I am a little confused on what is happening with the story. Anyone else run into this?

I too suffer from the pre-rendered cutscene issue... I'm not going to play the game in 1080p windowed...

The game also starts stuttering and slowing down after about an hour of play. I know it's another known issue.

Waiting for a fix so I can continue playing this stupid game... I was having fun so far

At this point I'd just refund and come back in couple weeks or a month, see if it's fixed then.

Still no patch eh?

I noticed that once I set textures to Automatic that the videos seem to play back normally.

I noticed this when I was replaying for a bit. The only real difference in my settings from my first play through was the texture setting.

This won't fix other people's issues with codex but it's one more mitigation...

Same issue here. Switching to windowed mode does not remove the desync for me. My resolution is 1080p native. Starting the game with -dx11 launch parameter removes the desync but the game does take a noticeable performance hit.

Dude, it's 4/10 already. They haven't even acknowledge it yet. Wow, that's awful customer service.

We need developers to embed the libvpx (VP9 Decoder) into this game, it can make cutscenes play normally in all system environments.

Media Foundation too many limitation and compatibility is not good.
To that end, I wonder if end users missing necessary Windows codec extensions from the Microsoft Store, such as the AV1, Ogg, VP9, and HEVC extensions, is partly to blame for this. Perhaps not, though.

...Wait a minute. How many of you installed the game to a SSD as was almost wholly required?

Right. Were you playing with the English dubbing, or the original Japanese, to confirm?
