My experiece with an early copy
So i decided to not follow the critic, i rent it (well borrow it) and got to play it for a while, ACG is right, the game is not that great, better wait for the game to get cheaper.

Gets boring after 3/4 hours, this game is 15 hour.

From what i've research (beceause i got super bored) end game combat loop is the exact same than the beginning, spam spell, rip core and repeat, not extra hard stuff or skills that change combat, no nothing. Just stats increase.

And the game is slow, you move super slow it's worse than walking simulator, in combat it's particulary annoying since there is no dash at all.

the main story is okayish i guess, didn't go too far so i won't judge that. The secondary quest range to great to super boring from what ive seen.

for 60$, wait for sale, since it might get better with a lower price tag. But the game is too mediocre to be worth that much, must be the first total control game for the team to be sure.
But i'll say this if you can get past those 3/4 hour i heard it grow on you, so if you want to help newbie in the industrie why not buy it if you really want.

edit: make it more readable

Eh I bought the deluxe edition but it’s already clear that the combat isn’t about dashes but perfect blocks

I'm still looking forward to this game, looks like something I will enjoy a lot. I didnt enjoy Elden Ring and Red Dead 2 and so many ppl are in Love with these games. Everyone likes different things.

I think they deserve some support for at least trying to make something unique in a time where it seems like no one is willing to experiment.

Fun is subjective. ACG rated Days Gone as 'wait for a sale' and it was great. He also rated as 'buy' many games that I didn't like. He's a great reviewer, but as most reviewers, is subjective. In this case, I like slow games, and don't care about repetition if the setting, story and gameplay is cool. I don't expect a 9.5 game, but if it's an 7.5 game I'll be satisfied.
