Are the servers still active in 2024? I loved this game back in the day and don't want to purchase if it's a dead game...I'm hoping not....

There used to be three servers, now there's one. Wow, there were 21 players on yesterday... that's like the record number of players for a whole year.

Dead as dead can be. I wish they would do seasons or something. Like a full wipe after 3-6 months or something.

If everyone stays away pretty soon someone in america will be able to reacquire the game and make it better than it was btw this is really sad to see.

You're joking, right? Did you read any of the older forum posts when it started? There were so many snowflakes crying that the game "wasn't fair" and the player base was "toxic". No, the playerbase needed to fuel this game is gone.

I was out farming when there were people on. I ran into a person that was about the same level as I was and when we saw each other, the first thing out of his toon's mouth was, "I'm just farming, please be nice, and let me live." I was disgusted, so I killed him. He had the chance to fight, but he wouldn't. The whole time I was ganking him, he was crying and begging me to stop. After I killed him, oh the tears in my tells.

There are too many people here that don't belong in this game and the ones that want to try to play it, want it changed into WoW. No, just let this game die a dignified death.

Never happening. Shadowbane is dead, forever. it's been dead more than 15 years... last 2 years of live were basically dead.
