How is the game different from the previous Strategic Mind games?
What is new in the Strategic Mind: Spirit of Liberty?

New campaigns
Two plot-driven campaigns: historical and “what if”.

New story
New storyline with over 60 minutes of in-game cinematics.

New content
New units, equipment, skills, HQ skills, awards, heroes, and historical characters.

New design approach
In our previous titles, one operation could take well over six hours of playtime for an experienced player to complete. That was too tough by any standard, so now we aim to keep operations as full of content, events, and objectives as before but at the same time to lower the overall playtime per operation. The plan for the historical campaign is to have more compact and dynamic operations, while the alternate history one will have few larger “old-school” operations. So, you will be able to try out both approaches and let us know whichever one you like better.

We want to give you the juiciest gameplay where you have the same narrative and gameplay values, but do not have to grind your way through the torrent of endless enemies for hours.

Plans for further development of the whole series

Quality of life improvements and continued support:
- We plan to keep improving the mechanics, UI, and controls as we work on the project.
- As with the previous titles, we will keep improving the whole series, by adding most of the new features retrospectively to all previous Strategic Mind titles. We will also keep polishing all the games and offer continued support.

We will update this thread as the development of the game progresses and more information becomes available.

That's right a scenario could often be 3 to 4 hours if not more. If you change that, that would be pretty good. Because I played blitzkrieg through and was really fed up with the series. Because it also took a lot of time and will be able to play through it to the end.

Will the 2 campaigns have 10 missions each?

Hello
We plan to have 20 opeartions in total. However, the distribution will be unequal.
What I say next are just some plans, so this information might change as the development progresses. But for now, the plan is to have 15-operations-long historical campaign that covers 1939-1945, and 5-operation-long alternate history campaign that will be set in 1941. The alternate history campaign will start with larger and more experienced troops and the reward per operation will be much higher.

Yes, you are right. We had to move the SM: Spirit of Liberty's release date to Q3 2022 due to increased studio workload and to ensure high quality of the game.

If you want to get some free publicity for your games; make a game using the current situation with Russia and the Ukraine. It would be the same principle as Finland and Russia. Of course it would probably make some political parties very uncomfortable. It could also be a "what if" game.
