Rare Coats & Sugar cubes

Any idea when we'll get the map markers from kikki? It sucks going to every known location looking for the rare spawns

Also whats everyone's best strats on finding sugar cubes

We need money and a way to buy them for sure. It gets really annoying to deal with peppermint and sugar cubes real fast. When breeding high quality horses with 4 or 5 traits more often than not i need over 30 each of 4 different food items ... most of the time sugar cubes and peppermint are among them. Honestly that just sucks.
For sugar cubes you basically have to ride around a lot. Before Felix estate are a few, at the light house are a few, at the house with the little boy next to the lake are some and close by is a corner with a few stones where you can find several cubes, the villages have sugar cubes and so on ... basically go everywhere once and you might be lucky enough to get around 30 cubes.
Rare coats are eluding me, but i did manage to breed interesting and top quality horses regardless :D sadly genetic testing doesn't work as intended. We should open a thread etc to share achieved coat colors and horses haha

Omg, what if he paid in the horse's favorite food... Dream scenario lol. I've had the max 99,999 fame for several game hours now, the only thing motivating me to sell horses is to make space for more breeding!

yeah selling is useless and fame gets useless real fast too :D i just breed whenever i feel like it, trying to get an all 10 horse with good traits and nice color .... still i get tired of collecting cubes super fast

What are the best stats you've managed so far? My best is a 10 and the rest 9's, I haven't been able to breed a horse with multiple 10's yet. All 10's is my goal as well, and I'm curious if it's possible!

same ^^ apart from the one who is purely superior in stats, i did manage to get one with good stats and 4 positive traits. She is 10 9 9 7 9 and loves forests, fields, sand and water :D Im trying to breed a foal which also includes loves jumping and cantering :D ..... but im too lazy to collect sugar, sadly haha

yeah peppermints too as soon as the sand castle exploit is fixed :D right now you can repeatedly repair some of them to get a lot of favor and redeem them for hundreds of peppermint

Best places for sugar cubes!:
- Neolithic stones in the transition path between Greenhorn and Lakehouse = 7!!! (There's another 3 or 4 in front of the house!)
- Chests on islands in Coral Lagoon = 3x3 = 9
- Crates behind shed on way to Felix Estate = 4
- Chest in cliff on way to Felix Estate = 3-5 (you might need to ride up the cliff after the car park to get any that have landed higher up!)

I try and hit these places each day or at least whenever I'm passing, especially in the early game when I don't need as many. But I agree - another way to get them, buying or whatever, would be appreciated, especially for the late game. We need a way to use up fame imo.
