Top view of Estate?

I have been playing the game off and on for a bit since it's release. I enjoy it and I love making my estate look decent, but does anyone else wish they could have a top view of the estate for better placement of things, so maybe a 'build mode' of sorts, and when you go into build mode you can look at your estate or any other building plot on the map from a top view and be able to see where you are placing things. Just my opinion mostly.

I do wish there was an option to hide the building posts when you arent using them. Having a "building mode" or some option to see them or hide them would help with immersion.
