Even if you were magically brought back into 2010 to play it, you will realize the game wasn't the holy grail you remember it to be, just a regular F2P Korean FPS. I still find some enjoyment in it, although I never came in with hopes that playing this game will save my soul from eternal damnation, maybe you should reevaluate your own expectations too.
I've played so many games at this point that A.V.A has probably melted together with lots of other games that are extremely familiar.
Seems like they forgot to balance the weapons for a no P2W model.
A lot of games are very similar, you just have to find the one that is most fun for you and it gets really hard to get bored and put it away.
If there are no P2W weapons, what is there to balance really? I think the weapons are OK, but the default AR and SMG feel overpowred, I bought the old M4A1 that used to be the default Rifleman weapon in 2010 and it's objectively inferior to the current default Rifleman weapon, and as a result it makes it useless to even exist in the game as it does nothing to justify its existence.
I used the "Vector" it felt awful same with the MP5 (then again its the MP5) but the AK was really good (then again its the AK). Snipers are ridiculous and the game feels so off due to everything being so snappy.
Overall I didn't expect the game to be great but I didn't expect it to be feel bad.
No point in being a negative Debbie Downer (I'm not speaking about the OP, but everyone who expected the game to be some masterpiece that will steal every other Steam game's thunder and playerbase and leave them dead), just accept how things are and enjoy them, if you can't move on. No need to see everyone's personalized rant on how the game is not like they remembered it to be.
