Crescendo failure

The first time i get wiped in crescendo it won't let me click "into the vortex" i have to force close the game and i can't make anymore story progress.

check your character in the main menu. does it give the option there?

Are you on Ironman / Hardcore (can't remember its name)?

Same here. I have a skill point to spend on my character. Clicking "into the vortex" just pings. Can't escape to main menu. I think maybe the achievement is failing to register and that locks up the game. I have a screen shot. I'll see if I can upload it then share it here.

edit: so I killed the game and started playing again. I have no quest state. Just missions to run. Into the vortex I go. Seems it killed the run.

Same thing happens to me too. The vortex button doesn't work so I also have to force close the game and restart meaning I can't finish Crescendo too.
Need a fix please.

Just go into the vortex and start a new run. It's the only way to do over.

So I killed the game, went into the vortex and started a new timeline. Got all the way back to the Crescendo and same result. Click "into the vortex" and get a bing with no result. So I guess we're stuck until it's fixed.

The problem is that the game doesn't trigger the story flag because of it. You can restart, but no real progress gets made.

I thought it was a one off bug and restarting may let you get past it. Since it failed at the exact same spot, it's clearly a consistent error.

Yep same here, tried it for several cycles and the problem is it seems the story ( if there is more ) won't continue when you hard close the game. Hope this get fixed soon.

FYI....looked at the next patch beta. A fix for this is not included...

Having the exact same experience. Clicking "Into the Vortex" does nothing. Can Alt+F4 to restart and the only thing there is to do is farm missions or break character, no further story progress can be made. Have done this exact loop 3x now. Seems like a big to me.

The Beta test fixes the Crescendo problem but then you're stuck on something else and once again you can't continue.
