Couple of bugs
I've had a lot of fun with this game so far, pretty much got everything except for a couple of creatures and I'm working on the expert level for most of them, that being said I've noticed a couple of bugs specifically around switching which creature is in your flock:

The first one applies (mostly) to Thrips and Gleebs, when you charm one in the wild there's no issues, but when switching one in via the flock menu, any of the creatures from these two families seem to lose their animations on their wings, so Gleebs stop flapping entirely (leading them to look more like Drupes) and with Thrips the spinning animation seems to break as the wings appear off to one side and the slight glow those wings give off is left behind (so you have two wings out to the side not attached to the creature and one set of see through wings still attached to them).

This leads on to the second issue I've noticed, this affects Thrips and a specific kind of Sprug, the sprite issues with the wings on affected Thrips and the small twinkling sound the crystal Sprugs make during the section with the large mushrooms where they make sound near the cave persists even if you switch them out for another creature (so the bugged wings on Thrips stay out even if the creature is completely different) the only way to be rid of this issue is to continue charming creatures until the affected spot in the flock is cycled for a new creature, this in turn brings me onto my final bug around the flock switching system.

When you have a full flock and charm a new creature, there's a period of time where you have over your limit before one of the creatures in your flock moves out to make space, in the period of time where you have more creatures than your current limit, if you switch out the creature that is about to leave, that creature is deleted completely from your flock, you can't switch it back in cause it is completely gone, and it leaves a space open in the flock which nothing occupies for whatever reason. I've only done this without realising until I went to switch one of my creatures out and realised I hadn't got any of them because it had been previously deleted, I had watched said glitch happen but didn't realise the effects at the time.

Finally an unrelated bug that occurred during the invisible Rustic sequence where during a small cutscene type moment while looking at the creature after finding it, I had also just completed another action (I believe it was picking sheep up after grazing, but I can't remember specifically, it could have been charming a new creature, which in hindsight seems more likely) and after that action was completed at the same time as this cutscene, I was stuck with the camera view exclusively in this cutscene and could not move or interact in any way, so I had to quit out of the game entirely and reload it which fixed it but since the cutscene was over, I had some trouble relocating the creature I was meant to be tracking.

Also all of these bugs occurred before the update that happened fairly recently, and of the above bugs, I know for a fact that the visual and sound based issues occuring with Gleebs, Thrips and certain Sprugs is still an issue because I can still replicate them, as for the final bug, that may have been fixed, but I have no way to confirm

Despite this not only being a really long explanation of bugs, but also sounding mildly negative, I don't want it to come across this way, these are some fairly small quality of life things for the most part, and haven't stopped me playing through the whole game and continuing my search for the rest of the creatures I haven't yet caught, the whole vibe of the game is great and while I have seen some complaints about rare spawns, I'm currently not too bothered by this because just calmly gliding around while waiting for something to show up reminds me of when I just wander around aimlessly in Minecraft. Anyway, my point is that it's a wonderful little game and I'm still enjoying playing, but the above bugs would be nice to sort out as it can be a little annoying (especially with Gleebs and Thrips for visual bugs as it takes you out of the game a bit

Hi there,

Thanks for the bug reports, we've added them to our bug database and will see if we can fix any of these issues. If so I'll update this thread to let you know when an update has been pushed with fixes.

Thanks!

On both of these links I've taken screenshots to show what I mean, there's a couple of affected Gleebs (which seems to happen when swapping from a creature with no moving wings, this is how I recreated the glitch anyway) and on the bottom there is the Thrip wings which are floating in the air, there is currently only one Thrip present in the flock which can be seen in the top left next to the two rainbow coloured Baffins, nowhere near the wings it should have

Thanks for responding so fast, I'm still trying to recreate the Thrip bug, but I can't seem to do it consistently if at all when it's already glitched once, but the Gleeb visual bug was very easy to recreate, with the switching a in a non-moving creature, such as the Gallus Gleeb, and then switching back to the moving Gleeb, such as the Frogmouth and Morning Gleebs pictured here

And finally here is an example of how the states of previous creatures remains even when they are switched out, pictured is a flock where I haven't gotten the expert achievement for any of the present families, yet the glow produced when you do remains, it should be noted that while it's hard to see, in the first image when looking at one of the Skyfish, you can still see the Thrip wings (it's just below one of the sheep) despite no Thrips being present here, along side this, I've noticed that the Puffing Drupe also appears to be affected as when flying, it is no longer producing smoke as it usually would, from this I would surmise that any of the creatures with extra effects such as the Fluttering Baffin and Parasol Sprug may also be affected, though I haven't noticed this as of yet.
